The ministries of New Prospect Baptist Church are designed to enrich and equip your life. Through a variety of Bible study groups and unique ministry organizations, there's a place for you to experience personal and spiritual growth.

Sunday School

Join us every Sunday at 9:00 AM to find the place for you to connect with the family at New Prospect. Pick up a Sunday School Connection Group guide at the Guest Welcome Center in the Main Foyer of the church to find the special fit for you.

Sunday School classes are designed to help you connect in three areas:

• Connect with Christ though Bible study and Worship
• Connect with Christians through Ministry and Fellowship
• Connect with the Community through Evangelism and Missions

Discipleship Training

New Prospect seeks to obey the command to make disciples in our county, our country and around the world. We do this by one-on-one discipleship, prayer groups and in-depth Bible Study.

G.R.O.W.

GROW stands for GOD REWARDS OUR WORK. We believe this statement drives our evangelism efforts. G.R.O.W. teams meet on a regular basis to reach the Yocona Community and surrounding area with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Women's Ministry

The Ladies of New Prospect enjoy spending time together in small group Bible study, attending Women of Joy conferences and WMU.

Children's Ministry

Through Sunday School Children's Church, Preschool Choir, and monthly activities preschoolers have a number of opportunities to learn, play, and develop their God-given abilities while having their budding faith lovingly nurtured. We welcome you and your preschooler (age newborn through pre-k) to come and join the New Prospect family and our exciting ministry to children.

Wednesday night trains the children to appreciate the mission God has given us to spread the gospel around the world. RA's, GA's and Mission Friends meet during the summer months. Our children, first through sixth grade are challenged to memorize Scripture in the Bible Drill program. Monthly activities motivate the kids to nurturing their faith in Christ.

Youth Ministry

The Youth are lead by Jay and April Parks. They enjoy spending time with the Youth of New Prospect and challenging them to live out their faith in Christ. Twice a month, the Youth have S.N.A.P. Sunday Night Activity and Prayer after church on Sunday night. Each Wednesday night, thirty or so young people gather in the Youth room for Praise and Worship led by Brother Jay.
